  • a huge Woo-Hoo when I cross that finish line!!

The official training season of Bay Area Fit started today. My eyes are on the prize...finishing 26.2 in January 2008. Woo and Hoo!

  1. You can do it! You have been such a great support for us marathon newbies! I will cheer you on all the way! You go Girl!!!

  2. How exciting! Good for you! :)

  3. i'm so excited for you! my stomach was doing flips while i read your post b/c i had never put this whole experience into words before! :)
you are so much tougher than i am to be running in texas heat and humidity- i lived there 18 months and can testify to the fact that nothing drains you more than 100+ degrees when it's 100% humidity!!!
i love that you have a group to run with. i'm excited to see you get to this goal! :)

  4. I was so sad to miss the opening day! boo hoo. I know it felt good to get the season on the ball. Oh, well, maybe next Saturday.

Hope you are having a great weekend. We are still in Abilene. See you soon. Love ya!

  5. Yay for you!! I'm with Jen...my heart beat a little faster reading this post. I'm excited to be a part of your training, via your blog of course! Don't forget the body glide!!! :)

  6. I'm not a runner, but I have so much respect for those who are. Good Luck!! How exciting.
