The BBBC: Book Selection for June

I don't know about you, but I am in the mood to read something inspiring and uplifting. I have not read The Hiding Place, by Corrie Ten Boom before, but have heard much praise for it. It is the story of a woman's experience during the Holocaust and her strong faith in God. You can read more about this book here.

Meet you back here June 25th for the third gathering of The BBBC.

  2. That looks like a good one. I'll have to check it out . . . though I don't know that I'll have it finished by the end of June. I have myself involved with 2 other titles right now:
    - Raising an Emotionally Intelligent Child
    - Marathon Woman

And I stayed up WAY late last week finishing Merle's Door. If you like dogs, it is a FANTASTIC read!

  6. Okay... I am in the middle of a different book right now but once again I am going to give it a try.. This seems more my style than last choice but also something I have never read (I guess I don't read as much as I thought)... HOpefully I can finish what I am reading and then get started on this!

  7. What a great book you've chosen. I read it while I was in high school. I also heard Corrie Ten Boom speak once...it was unbelievable to say the least. Talk about inspiring.
