Because Nothing Says I Love You Like a Nine Iron

Apparently our decision to run a half marathon together (13.1 miles in honor of 13 years of marriage), gave Scott another idea.

Tuesday he came home beaming from ear to ear and presented me with this:

A cute pink tote bag with strange poles peeking out from the top. Just what I wanted.*

*Though I have never embraced Scott's obsession for golf, it seems like I will be hitting the greens soon. Putt-Putt has been known to frustrate me, so this should be highly entertaining.

  4. I once threw a golf club in frustration...I don't think that is a good thing! (Don't worry I didn't throw it AT anyone and no one was hurt during the course of that game!) :)

  8. But that means you have to stand outside right? How do you do that in the Texas heat and humidity?? I would die, for real.

That's a pretty sassy golf bag though.

  9. I've actually been golfing a few times with Jason before we were married. It was fun when we went, but the real fun was getting to drive the golf cart around. Let me know how your golfing outing together goes!:)

  10. Yes, some of us are born to hobbies, some have hobbies thrust upon them. I felt like Jodie Foster is Silence of the Lambs, quid pro quo...

I can't imagine braving the links in the heat of summer. Heat makes me a crankypants.

I'm in it for the plaid pants and spiky shoes.

A pink glf cart wouldn't hurt either.

  15. uh oh!! I don't mind walking the course, I was even getting to be a pretty good caddy back in our former life (before kids) but I would rather run 13.1 miles than try golfing again! we went w/ another couple YEARS ago and I had way too much good advice....I'll stick to putt putt!
