What I Wore Wednesday

Only three outfits to share this week.

For some reason three seems to be my max. I'm not sure why. I get dressed in something every day but some days I stay in my workout clothes (I know, nice) or I throw on a repeat (not that there's anything wrong with repeats, they are lifesavers) or I forget to take pictures.

First up, like mother like daughter maxi dresses for church.
I love the comfort and ease of maxi dresses, which is funny because a few years ago I could hardly imagine myself wearing one. With layering you can extend the maxi dress season (at least here in Texas) almost year round, and adding a belt changes the look too. I'm a fan of options!

my dress & denim shirt: stein mart

her dress: justice

rope belt & black tank: target

mint earrings: kendra scott (obsessed!)
my wedges: yellow box

her flips: justice

We had a freakish cool front one day last week so I was able to layer things up a bit.
faded denim shirt: gap

boyfriend jeans: gap

leopard scarf: h&m
(it's a long skinny scarf and I tied the ends together to make an infinity scarf)

beige cardigan & leopard belt: target

leather cuff: farmgirl paints

nude flats: payless

And, because I couldn't help myself, I wore my army vest again.
navy striped shirt & jeans: gap

army vest: nordstrom

chunky gold necklace: groupdealz

orange earrings: carol & co

nude flats: payless

I'm linking up with Lindsey's blog, be sure to hop over there for oodles more fashion inspiration.

Happy Wednesday, friends!

  1. Gap boyfriend jeans! I have two pair from the gap outlet. THE MOST comfortable jeans I have EVER owned.
I love your blog! I love being able to catch a glimpse of the life and heart of other women. And your life and heart are way cool. Thanks for sharing it.

  2. Love my Gap boyfriend jeans. Love all your outfits. I have one maxi dress that works on me, but finding more has been tough. Proportions are hard to get right. Your hair always looks so great.
